Information Technology ("IT") is difficult for many people to understand. Like any specialty, it has its own language (jargon), full of acronyms, abbreviations, and words we don't generally use in everyday life.
My passion is communication. Information Technology is my profession. My mission is to bring the powerful tools provided by IT to people who might be intimidated or confused by the concepts needed to understand those tools.
Learning about IT requires a little patience, but you can gain enough understanding about it to make intelligent choices for yourself and your business.
It is my intention to provide links to valuable reading, and to offer my services to teach, write and assist in your quest to succeed in the twenty-first century.

Roy Atkinson is an IT support professional. He is the VP of Membership of the Northern New England Chapter of HDI (Help Desk Institute), and a member of HDI's national conference faculty (2008). He is an HDI Certified Support Center Manager.
In addition, Roy is a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery and the Association of Support Professionals.
